Courses
5 day courses that focus on core topics within the GCSE syllabus and some 'Stepping up to A Level' session to help pupils with the transition. Lessons take place at the same time each day and with a maximum of 6 pupils per class there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions from the tutor and get tailored support.

Drop-ins

‍We are running revision sessions on top topics to help refresh knowledge and brush up on some of the trickier areas, including "GCSE Maths: Tricky Questions" and "GCSE Physics: Exploring Space". Some of the topics will be around more non-academic content to help teens prepare for uni, including "Personal Statements and Looking Towards Uni, from a History Student". Sessions are one hour each, open to everyone and run weekly.

Each tailored course costs £60-£70 for 5 lessons and drops-ins are free of charge.

If you've signed up for a drop-in, or have paid for a course, then we will send out recordings via YouTube links. For courses, these will be the following day (after each course session) and for drop-ins, they will be sent by the end of that week.

Courses

Courses will run between the 26th July - 27th August. The first course (Week 1) will start on the 26th of July and the last course (Week 5) will start on the 23rd of August.

Drops ins

Drop-ins will run between the 26th July - 27th August. The first session will take place on the 27th of July and the last will be on the 26th of July.

To book a place on a course you just need to add the courses you’re interested in to your cart and complete payment.

For drop-ins just go to the drop-ins page and sign up to the sessions you're interested in.

Once you've paid for a course we'll send you a confirmation email to let you know we've reserved you a place. We'll also be sending an email containing a Zoom link to access the lessons, so keep an eye on your emails!

We have 19 of our most experienced tutors teaching each of the subjects for the full duration of the course. They've each received hundreds of positive reviews in the past, have taught hundreds of lessons on our platform and schools trust them to support their pupils.

Lessons will be taught using Zoom - the tutor will share their screen and work in the MyTutor lesson space. The tutor will use resources (like past paper questions, diagrams and quizzes) specific to this course and make the lesson as hands-on and interactive as possible.

Sessions are very interactive as tutors will be asking questions throughout and students can respond either by speaking directly to the tutor or through the chat function if they prefer. Tutors will be hosting quizzes in each lesson which students can participate in if they wish.

All sessions are recorded and each of our tutors has had an enhanced DBS check.

Before each session, our tutor and operations team will test out the space and make sure that everything is working. If we  run into any problems, our friendly support team are on-hand to get everything working in the session.

We’ve recommended the level the student should be working towards on each of the course pages. Where students might be working at slightly different levels within the subject, asking questions will enable the tutor to stop and clarify any particular areas individual students are struggling with.
